Made in 2007, this Jaguar bass is near as damn it brand new. It's made in Japan as that's the only place Fender make the Jag basses these days. Prior to me importing it this bass had been played only a handful of times and the finish is in immaculate condition. There's a very small nick on the neck which I have taken a photo of and shown below. This Jaguar was serviced and setup by none other than Ian Crow at Amblin Man Studios he is a remarkable player and has been an electronics testing engineer for many years. If you want to see the invoice for this work please get in touch. Although intonation has been perfected, I've found out that often in Ebay auctions this is a matter of opinion so while we think it's perfect we're making no guarantees. All I can say is that when I tried this bass out I was amazed at the playability and had to state into space for a few minutes trying to persuade myself to list it on ebay!
It's been upgraded with a BADASS II bridge, which is worth about £50 and gives this lovely bass a really low string set up, although of course the beauty of the Badass bridge is that it gives you the ultimate flexibility to set the bass up however you wish. The Badass coupled with the thin jazz style neck this makes the top notes on this bass fast as hell!
This Fender Jaguar bass is active and has a bunch of dials and knobs to play with and has switchable active circuitry.
I'll also chuck in a fender gig bag and fender bass strap. I'll also include the original Fender bridge that was replaced. The RRP for this bass is £769.99.

The colour finish on this bass is a really deep vibrant red, it looks good enough to eat!

Lovely low setup, no clink or buzz!

The neck is perfectly straight, as you would expect on a bass that is less than a year old!
Plenty of knobs to have fun with! (oo-er missus!)

The famous Fender bass headstock shape

Here you can see the itty bitty tiny shallow nick in the neck of this Jag, it's hardly noticeable when playing and a very minor bit of damage considering the utterly brand spanking new condition of the rest of this bass.
UPDATE - 25/11/07
This lovely bass sold for a total steal of £450 on ebay. Two weeks after I shipped it I got an angry email from the ebay buyer to say the bass was damaged, now as you can see from the photos above it left here in brand new condition. He sent over the photos (below) that showed a hole in the box, the gig bag and worst of all the gutiar itself. I am trying to claim compensation from the courier but as the buyer didn't report the damage for two weeks it's not looking like I'm going to get any cash. I had to refund the buyer £480 meaning I lost all the Ebay and PayPal fees. I don't think I'm under any obligation to refund the buyer but hey, I'm a nice guy. Word to the wise though, avoid City Link! This damage isn't caused by a minor knock, it's been bloody lanced wtih considerable force.
Hopefully I'll be able to see this bass fast and try and recoup some losses, someone is going to get an utter bargain!
