Replastering Victorian Walls

(Or tearing plaster off the walls of a house built in 1892)

Here you can see where Emma made a start


It didn't take long to start makign the hole bigger and this was with no tools!


By now things were getting a bit dusty so resorted to using masks


As you can see, the plaster was pretty much hanging off the wall. Next time Emma
suggests pulling down wallpaper in this house I might dissagree.


With the aid of a crow_bar and a coal chisel this was the scene only about ten minutes
later. The plaster had the texture of old icing sugar, apart from the occasional bit of hair


Would you let these two pull plaster off your walls?


The finished article, now we just have to find a way to get rid of that plaster, and
try and figure out how we are going to get huge bits of plasterboard back from
Wickes to our house.


And here is a totally unrelated picure of Cefer dressed up like a Jawa. I know she
doesn't look happy but she had been sat outside for about two hours in the rain!
